SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

THE SUBMISSION PERIOD IS CURRENTLY CLOSED

POETRY:

• Up to 3 poems may be included in a submission. 

• Poetry under 20 lines (not including title) will be considered for display at Encore Books & Records and print publication.

• Poetry over 20 lines (not including title) will be considered exclusively for print publication.

• Please submit all poetry in a single Word document. 

PROSE:

Up to 2 fiction/creative-nonfiction pieces may be included in a submission.

• Prose submissions should be no longer than 2500 words. 

• All prose pieces will be considered for print publication. 

• Please submit all prose in a single Word document.

VISUAL ARTS:

• Up to 5 visuals may be submitted in a single submission.

• All visuals will be considered for print publication. 

• Please submit all visual arts in jpg. or png. format.

E-MAIL FORMAT:

In the subject line, please specify your name and whether you are submitting for poetry, prose or visual arts.

Along with your submission, please include an artist’s statement (100 words max). 

Please title your submission document: NAME-POETRY/PROSE/VISUAL
